Join Me in an Introduction to Watercolour.

I was gifted my first set of watercolours when I was 11 years old. I didn't learn how to properly use them until I was well into my 40s.

I completely relate to anyone who would LOVE to learn how to use this medium but struggle with the how, what, and where!

Just as there is a step by step process to learning to draw, one also exists for the watercolour medium. I believe that you need the space and time with your paints and paper, some guided exercises, "perfectionist" free experimentation and pages of watercolour sketches and paintings.

I love working in watercolour and have produced and sold quite a few paintings in the last few years. You never know....This could be you!

You also need momentum to your learning where you are able to apply the knowledge you learn. If you engage with any of my other courses this is a perfect supplementary and complimentary course that you can apply to any subject you want to draw and then paint.

I've created this mini course as the introduction to the larger watercolour course series I run. We will work through a basic introduction module to the medium and then you can make a decision about joining me for the other sessions at a later date.

I cannot wait to see you on this course. Watercolour is one of those techniques that can be allusive and different to master on your own...

During the process of having learnt to draw, the natural next step is picking up your chosen medium and adding colour. Mine happened to be watercolour.

I've experienced first hand what it feels like to go from not knowing how to paint to learning to motivate myself, learn new techniques, practice, and start to uncover my creative style! I'm still learning that one too!

If you're someone who has always wanted to do this, you owe it to yourself to at least take a risk free plunge to experience a good foundational process to watercolour.

Should you choose to accept my invitation to give this mini workshop a go you may find that you enjoy this medium. When you know and understand what to do it makes things so much easier to learn.

This initial introduction will act as a great springboard to the next stages of watercolour.

Keep drawing and embracing the next step of watercolour.

Can't wait to meet you soon!
